hypothetical campaigns and media posts

These hypothetical social media posts promote the "Reading Is Cool" campaign. Each week, Charleston Battery players share their favorite children's books with third graders, coach soccer skills, and engage in challenges.

Players also post videos and photos of book-themed soccer activities, encouraging followers to join in the fun and donate to the Battery Book Bonanza book drive.

The Instagram post highlights these points with visuals and text, while the Twitter post focuses on promoting the book drive directly. The Facebook post shares campaign results to reach a broader audience.

Through this process, I learned how to combine creativity with engagement and effectively promote a PR campaign.

Video Story and script

This is a news story on the usage of fake IDs in Charleston in the style of man-on-the-street interviews.

I collaborated with a partner to create sound bites, shoot b-roll, and interview different demographics in Charleston.

This taught me the technicalities behind broadcast journalism. I learned how to get comfortable on camera, the proper camera shot for interviewing people, and how to edit on iMovie.

The process was super enjoyable and gave me perspective from a police officer, a bouncer, and a College of Charleston student.
